Fibrations Festival 2025

Calling all crafters, fibre enthusiasts, and yarn addicts! Join us on August 17th for the annual Fibrations Festival, hosted by Knotty by Nature. Come explore a cornucopia of textile delights at the Fernwood NRG Community Centre and in the field of William Stevenson Park behind the centre. You will find: * Hand-dyed, hand-spun yarns of all kinds * Hand-dyed roving * Handmade knit/crochet/woven/sewn goods * Notions for your craft projects * The ceramics every fibre enthusiast needs * And so much more! Accessibility Info: The Fernwood NRG gymnasium is wheelchair accessible from a ramp on the main floor. The field is also accessible by wheelchair from Pembroke St., and there is a slope going from the back parking lot up to the field as well. Fernwood NRG is low scent but there may be some chemical cleaner scents as well as a likelihood of encountering some dust indoors. Fluorescent lights are present in the gymnasium A single stall washroom is available at the bottom of the ramp near the inner gymnasium doors.
