ACCOUNTING ASSISTANTJOB DESCRIPTION Reports to: Manager of Accounting & Financial Services FULL TIME POSITION Under general supervision, administers and maintains the payroll system, provides reception support and back up of financial duties as needed. Typical Duties: Payroll: Compiles, processes and maintains payroll records for the Town of Stettler, Stettler Public Library (SPL), Stettler Regional Board of Trade (BOT ), and Summer Village of White Sands (SVWS). Reception: Assists with telephone inquiries, front counter receptionist duties, utility maintenance inquiries, input for animal tags, and tax information requests. Financial: Completes data processing as necessary. Other: Performs other administrative tasks as required.
