Eagle Builders LP is hiring a Precast Drafting Checker. We are currently looking for a motivated full-time Precast Drafting Checker to join our growing Eagle Builders team in Blackfalds, Alberta. This is a senior position in our organization and previous experience in a related checking role is required. You will work closely with a strong knowledgeable team in a fast-paced environment. Job description Responsible for ensuring precast installation drawings are completed and correct according to the projects construction drawings Responsible for checking structural details on precast installation drawings and ensuring they are both practical and efficient Responsible for checking precast shop drawings for accuracy and content according to the installation drawings Working with drafters in the department to ensure that proper drafting standards are being upheld and followed Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to complete checks Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a checking or quality control role Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings Knowledge of precast concrete construction is considered an asset Familiar with Revit and AutoCAD Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Good English communication skills, both written and oral Ability to work under pressure in a team environment to meet tight deadlines Willing to relocate to Central Alberta What Eagle Builders offers you?
