The Academy of Learning Career College &ndash Red Deer is seeking a designated LPN or RN to fill its afternoon Health Care Aide Instructor position. The successful applicant will lead the 12:00PM - 5:00PM block of the HCA program (Monday through Friday). Additionally, the selected candidate should anticipate 16 weeks of coursework/theory followed by a 2 week supervised clinical. Responsibilities: Deliver instruction that meets module and program objectives, as set out in the AOLCC curriculum Participate in the development and evaluation of curriculum and instructional materials Prepare course outlines and teaching materials Evaluate student progress; generate, administer and mark student coursework and exams Monitor and discuss students' progress at both an individual and group level Assign and post grades Skills / Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Presentation and group facilitation skills Ability to motivate, engage and inspire students Required Education / Experience: Related diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution 3+ years' experience as an LPN or RN RN or LPN active License Hours of Work: 28 hrs./wk (25 hours instructional time; 3 hours for prep time) 12:00pm - 5:00pm Why work for the Academy of Learning Career College?
